Steamed Egg Tofu with Minced Meat

Both inside and outside are silky. Steamed egg tofu reveal everything, the scent of tofu together with the savoury thick sauce. Non-fried tofu, steamed instead. And the black sauce. 10mins, to stand in front of your stove, does not a matter indeed. So, heat your stove now. Get your kitchen ready!

Ingredients

  • Egg Tofu
  • Olive Oil
  • Garlic
  • Onion
  • Chicken Breasts
  • Mushrooms
  • Red Chili
  • Green Onion
  • Oyster Sauce
  • Soy Sauce
  • Sesame Oil
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Corn starch & water

Step-by-Step

  1. Place egg tofu on the plate and drain the excess water.
  2. Steam tofu for 10 minutes.
  3. Marinate minced chicken breast with olive oil, oyster sauce, dark soy sauce, corn starch and sesame oil.
  4. Heat up a pan woth olive oil and saute minced garlic and onion until golden brown.
  5. Stir fry red chili, minced meat and mushrooms, stir occasionally.
  6. Add water, oyster sauce, sweet soy sauce, pinch of salt and ground black pepper.
  7. Mix corn starch with splash of water for thicken the sauce.
  8. Remove egg tofu from steamer and again, drain the excess water.
  9. Pour the sauce on top of steamed egg tofu.
  10. Finally, garnish with green onion.

I admit, a lot of recipes i did with my favorite tofu but they never taste better than this. I thought that this time was paid off. Assure you practice these recipe.
