Japanese Pork Ramen Soup & Noodles
I made it for family breakfast and yes, seems odd. This meal is mostly found for lunch or dine. Still and all, my lunch and dinner meal has been prepared. Thus, the perfect time to cook those ramen is in the morning!
This ramen set has all the ingredients for a whole bowl, but I decided to add 3 ounces of pork ribs in the soup in order to get thicker broth which will nicer. In case, i made soft boiled ramen egg and put garlic nori to complete my ramen as well. All of them are optional, but if you wish to got a complete bowl of ramen, then do it. And here, i marinated my soft boiled eggs with some ingredients written below, yes im in the mood.
Well, the broth is great but i missed one, the chopped spring onions on top.
For Ramen :
- Ichiran Ramen Set
- Pork Ribs
For Eggs :
- Soy Sauce
- Sesame Oil
- In a big pot, filled with 400 to 450 ml of water per pack. Bring to boil and put the 3 ounces of prok ribs and the sauce provided for 30 minutes.
- In another pot of water, bring to boil and putt the eggs in for 6 to 6.5 minutes to get the soft boiled egg yolk. After 6 minutes, drain the eggs in a cold ice water for another 10 minutes. Then in a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, sugar, water and sesame oil for marinate the egg.
- In a pot, bring the water to boil and put the ramen noodles inside for about 4 minutes and drain.
You can get a bowl and serve it by your own taste. Here, as what instructed, the water is optional. I filled the pot by about 2500 since i cooked for 5 bowl. Moreover, the taste of eggs is better when you marinate it overnight, so be sure make it a day before you cook the ramen.
